Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated full time seasonal Grader Operator to join our team for the 2025 season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to grade municipal roads in the summer and plow snow in the winter as required.

The successful candidate will have:
-    Previous experience operating a motor grader and road maintenance. Experience is not a requirement but would be considered an asset.
-    Valid grader operating certificate or willing to attend training provided by the RM.
-    Knowledge of servicing and maintaining equipment
-    Capable of working alone and with others with minimal supervision
-    Attention to detail and safety conscious
-    Valid drivers license

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
-    Maintaining municipal roadways
-    Clearing snow in winter as required
-    Assisting with road repairs
-    Installing culverts and erecting signs
-    Operating tractor and mower
-    Hours are typically Monday  Friday, subject to weather
-    Work Season is approximately April 15 to November 1st, subject to weather

This position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience, comprehensive employer paid benefits package (with some exceptions), and pension plan.
