We are seeking a qualified Power Engineering Instructor to teach and mentor students in the Power Engineering program. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in power engineering and the ability to effectively communicate and engage students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in Power Engineering concepts and practices.
Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance through assessments, projects, and exams.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with staff to maintain and improve program quality.
Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new knowledge into the curriculum.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Third Class Power Engineering Interprovincial Certificate (minimum or higher)
Two years of recent/relevant experience working as a Power Engineer
Strong communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
