THE POSITION

The Vice-President, Academics is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of all academic programming at Northlands College. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice-President, Academics ensures alignment of academic initiatives with the Colleges strategic vision and operational goals. This position leads academic planning, program development, curriculum enhancement, student learning outcomes, and faculty development. The Vice-President, Academics is a member of the executive leadership team and plays a critical role in institutional governance, resource allocation, and fostering external partnerships.

community priorities, ensuring both high quality and regulatory compliance. With extensive experience in managing budgets & overseeing performance indicators, this leader is adept at driving continuous improvements in student success, retention, and completion rates while effectively managing the complexities of financial oversight and resource allocation. They will excel in fostering strong relationships with government bodies, Indigenous communities, and external partners, integrating Indigenous perspectives and reconciliation efforts into academic programming.
