Description

The Material Resources & Events Coordinator works to oversee the Material Resources program at MCC Saskatchewan. Coordinating the procurement of material aid as requested by the MCC system, this role plans for and participates in various events and activities related to MCCs MR program including several material aid packing events each year. This role requires some travel, including an annual, out-of-province meeting with colleagues.

This position also works to facilitate MCCS Relief Sale Festival  a primary, annual day-long event bringing together hundreds of volunteers, supporters and serving as MCC Saskatchewans largest public facing fundraising event of the year. This role will also help facilitate other donor-focused events, as applicable and time allows.

Some flexibility will also be required for evening and weekend work. This is a salaried, part-time position (0.8 FTE or 30 hours/week).

Anti-oppression commitment: MCC expects all staff to actively participate in an organizational culture that focuses on dismantling any barriers based on race, economic inequality or gender-based oppression. This includes an expectation to assess and address any barriers within themselves, within their team(s), and within MCC; supervisors are expected to take leadership in assessing and addressing these barriers
