Description

The Moose Jaw Housing Authority requires one permanent full-time caretaker with duties to commence as soon as possible.  The purpose is to provide primary janitorial and building maintenance services for our senior/adult tenant buildings.  General working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

The successful candidate will:
-have a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus three (3) years experience in the building maintenance field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
-have general knowledge of building maintenance, grounds keeping and equipment maintenance;
-possess a valid fireman's certificate or be willing to earn within 12 months of employment;
-possess a valid WHMIS certificate.
-meet the minimal physical requirements;
-have a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle for daily use;
-provide a clean criminal record check;

The successful incumbent must be respectful and comfortable towards a senior/adult population and their families.

The MJHA provides a competitive compensation package, as per the current collective bargaining agreement.
