The Cudworth Childcare Centre is seeking a Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a passion for working alongside children and have good organizational skills. Currently, our centre has 40 licensed spaces designated for infant, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children.

Located in Cudworth, our daycare is a newly renovated facility striving to provide high-quality childcare that supports positive physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of young children.

Qualifications:
Safe Food Handling (or willing to complete prior to starting)
Certificate in cooking from a recognized college is an asset but not required
Minimum one year of cooking experience is preferred
Meal planning and budgeting experience is an asset
ECE (Early Childhood Education) Level 1, 2 or 3 Certificate or willingness to obtain is an asset
Current First Aid & CPR certificates (recognized in the Province of Saskatchewan)
Criminal record check
Vulnerable sector check (all applicants are advised that offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check)
Credential verifications and references are required

Responsibilities:
Plan and provide nutritious and appealing meals and snacks for our program while staying within the set out budget
Purchasing, food preparation and serving meals
Will also be required at times to help the team in providing high quality childcare to the children by covering staff breaks, programming time and days off
Provide nurturing care to all children at CCC
