Description

The Cudworth Childcare Centre is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead our team in providing exceptional care and education for young children. The Assistant Director will be responsible for assisting the Director with the day-to-day operations and administration of the CCC. Currently, our centre has 40 licensed spaces designated for infant, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children.
Located in Cudworth, our daycare is a newly renovated facility striving to provide high-quality childcare that supports positive physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of young children.

Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education (Level 3 preferred) but consideration will be given to applicants with any ECE level combined with sufficient experience
Safe Food Handling (or willing to complete prior to starting)
Current First Aid & CPR certificates (recognized in the Province of Saskatchewan)
Criminal record check
Vulnerable sector check (all applicants are advised that offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check)
Credential verifications and references are required

Responsibilities:
Ensure and provide a safe and developmentally appropriate daycare program in collaboration with the Director
Adhere to Early Childhood Education standards and all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Collaborate with other members of the team and oversee programming in partnership with staff
Provide nurturing care to all children at CCC
