Crete-Tek Contracting Ltd. ("Crete-Tek") is looking to add another Estimator to our team! We are a locally owned and operated specialty industrial contractor. Our trades include; Carpentry, Concrete, Cladding and Asbestos Abatement. We are a growing, well structured, safety conscious contractor that has had the privilege of working on a variety of exciting industrial job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing estimates of the cost of materials, labour, equipment and materials for a construction project.
- Establishing and maintaining the tendering (bidding) process. Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
- Cost Monitoring.
- Maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
- Working with engineers, owners and subtrades making adjustments to cost when needed.
- Working closely with Crete-Tek Engineers, Project Co-Ordinators, and Project Managers at all stages of the project.
- Being well organized is crucial
- Attention to detail
- Communication skill are necessary for working with both in house coworkers along with outside contractors and suppliers, building strong relationships with both is necessary.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year construction estimation experience
- Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry
- Ability to read specs and drawings is required
- Post secondary education is an asset
