Experienced Equipment Operator / Class 1A Driver for Higher Level Position.

Competitive wage to be negotiated based on experience, and not limited to pay range listed.

We are seeking an Equipment Operator and Class 1A Driver with strong work experience to join our team in a senior position.  You will operate earthwork and heavy construction equipment, and highway truck and trailer combinations.  This is a hands-on role that requires competent and safe operation around workers, equipment, and vehicles on worksites and roads.

Responsibilities:
- Manage work sites, crews, work schedule, and job planning and organization.
- Operate earthwork and heavy construction equipment, and highway trucks and
  trailers
- Work safely around workers and a variety of earthworks equipment and
  vehicles
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Participate in safety culture and follow safety program requirements
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers

Experience:
- Must have experience operating: excavator, dozer, skidsteer, wheel loader,
  rock truck, compaction equipment, or similar
- Must have a valid Class 1A License, with relevant driving experience
- Must have experience in earthworks, construction, or related fields
- Able to perform physical labour for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures
- Preference to those with proven record of increasing responsibility
  in previous positions in related fields
