Description

Maintenance of the underground dewatering infrastructure.
Install, monitor and maintain underground dewatering services and sumps.
Mobile equipment operation.
Provide assistance to maintenance with equipment preparation.
Assist operators with daily sampling and any upset conditions.
Collaborate with other departments on improvements to the dewatering system.

Requirements of the position:
- Minimum grade twelve diploma or equivalent
- Experience with pipe installation, underground sump maintenance, pipeline pigging, high pressure unijetting, and installation of submersible pumps
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to give and receive honest feedback
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:
- Qualified to operate the unijet high pressure water blaster
- Previous work experience in an underground mine
