Description

Location: Saskatchewan (our office is in Saskatoon, but we are open to remote staff for this position)
Employment type: Part-time (20 hours per week), 1-year term contract (with possibility of extension for 1 year)
Start date: Mid-April 2025

Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan is a non-profit organization that changes lives throughout our province by providing free literacy, learning, and skills development programs delivered in partnership with trained volunteers and like-minded community partners. As we continue to expand literacy services in Saskatchewan, we are embarking on a new project to engage youth in volunteering. To accomplish this goal and create impact on a larger scale, we are recruiting 2 part time staff (20 hours per week) in the role of Youth Volunteer Senior Coordinator to lead this work.
About the Role
Working closely with the Program Manager, the Youth Volunteer Senior Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, and administration of all aspects of the Vital Volunteers: Youth Literacy Empowerment Project. As a leader, this position develops work plans, monitor program activities, ensures work is completed on time, and meets required standards of quality. The position provides training, guidance, resources, and tools to youth volunteers as well as school divisions and other organizations in the province and builds local and provincial partnerships.
