The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Finance Clerk. Reporting directly to the Finance Officer, the Finance Clerk is responsible for providing a variety of financial and administrative services. The role focuses on the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations, supporting the property tax and assessment functions and assisting with other financial operations in the department as required to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
A bachelors degree in accounting or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Knowledge of and experience in computer applications including data entry and word processing is required; knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
Demonstrated track record of maintaining strict confidentiality.
Must be bondable throughout employment.
Must pass a criminal background check.
