Description

The Kinistin Bison Ranch is looking to hire a Bison Manager to undertake the management duties involved in the operation and maintenance of the bison herd, corrals, and pasture. This position will be responsible for
overseeing all aspects of the bison herd, including the health, movement, and culling. The bison manager will work directly with KSN staff and other partners to accomplish projects that promote KSN traditions and cultural identity. The ideal candidate will be an outdoors person, able to work in isolation or in a team environment.
Prepared to work in a wide range of positions, from managing the bison herd, to researching and implementing strategies to meet the needs of the herd.

Managing and overseeing the care and welfare of the bison herd;
Operating a bison feeding program, managing seeding and baling hay;
Operating and maintaining general farm equipment and construction machinery;
Building, repairing, and maintaining fences, storage buildings, corrals and property;
Organizational and Management abilities.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Other duties as assigned from the supervisor.
