Description

Furry Friends Animal Hospital is seeking a Part time Kennel Attendant/Cleaner to add to our team.  The individual who is selected will be a positive, compassionate and efficient person with great communication skills.  This position is a supportive role for all areas of the hospital including helping the Veterinarians and Technicians, reception and housekeeping.  
Job Requirements:  Great communication and positive attitude within the hospital and with clients (in person and on the telephone), basic computer skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on feet all day, write legibly, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, comfortable dealing with dogs and cats, attention to detail, flexible in terms of days/hours and must be able to work Saturdays, ability to deal with stressful situations calmly and efficiently.  Previous veterinary clinic or animal care experience desired but not required.
Job Responsibilities:  Assisting the Veterinarian with basic tasks as needed, Assisting the Technicians with a variety of duties including but not limited to restraining pets, assisting with treatments, cleaning and maintaining equipment and instruments used for surgery/appointments, counting and stocking inventory, administrative duties, client care, housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing floors, cleaning exam rooms, and cleaning up after pets.  You will also be responsible for the daily cleaning requirements of the clinic.
