Description

The role of summer student, employed by the local library board, assists with a wide variety of public library services to the community under the direction of the Branch Librarian.

DUTIES:
- Assisting with the TD Summer Reading Club activities, events and crafts (a literacy program designed to promote reading in the summer months)
- Coordinating programming, creating promotional materials, and event preparation
- Aiding patrons as needed (including computer assistance)
- General library responsibilities which include shelving and shelf-reading, checking books in and out, opening and closing the branch and handling cash

HOURS:
35 hours per week, must have availability Monday  Saturday.
