Description

Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous Relations, the Corporate Affairs Coordinator is part of the Procurement & Corporate Affairs department and participates in a wide variety of external (Indigenous Relations & Government Relations) and community investment activities with a particular focus on administration and coordination. This position supports KSPC's commitments to Indigenous inclusion and continues to build and sustain positive relationships with local Indigenous communities through various approaches including community investment, recruitment and retention planning initiatives and procurement practices and also supports KSPCs relationships at municipal, provincial and federal levels as necessary.  The additional responsibilities can be found on the company website.

-Certificate or Diploma in Business, Communications (Public Affairs or Journalism), Marketing, Human Resources or related field.
-Strong organizational skills and a commitment to professionalism, including the ability to multi- task, managing timelines and multiple deadlines.
-Excellent interpersonal with the ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
-Understands and demonstrates the need for confidentiality and discretion as it relates to all aspects of corporate affairs, including communication and community investment.


Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPCs pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol testing.
