The Member Advisor position gives you the opportunity to explore the financial industry as the initial contact for our members and work cross-functionally with the rest of the organization to follow through with member requests and be a champion of our digital platforms.
We are looking for amazing Indigenous candidates to fill our Member Advisor roles. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong ability to provide knowledgeable and timely advice, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by effectively utilizing our products, services, and omni channels to meet our members needs. The key responsibilities for this role include:
Participate in Door-Step Banking Days in remote or underserved communities, making banking more approachable and convenient.
Being the first point of contact and first point of resolution
Work closely in a team environment with all staff to meet members financial needs (known and unknown)
Fulfill member needs by obtaining/analyzing information through active listening and communication skills
Explain benefits of credit union core products and services as compared to competitor products and service
Utilize digital solutions to create efficiencies, simplify members banking needs, and enhance the member experience.
Must have the ability to travel to and cover regionally as required.
Innovations Travel Practice Guidelines will be followed.
Qualifications:
Must identify as First Nations, Mtis or Inuit
Ability to speak Cree, Saulteaux, Ojibwe, Dene, or another Indigenous Language would be considered an asset
Must be over the age of 18
Must have obtained your high school diploma
Are a people person who possess excellent communication skills
Are a person that values Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.
Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, PowerBI).
