Job Purpose:

The cabin leader is the primary care giver and program leader for campers

Primary Responsibilities:

Care and well-being of campers
Daily Program Leadership
Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cabin Leader is expected to:

1.Model good Christian leadership, in accordance with the mission of Camp

       Christopher and adhere to the Camp Christopher Covenant.

2.Ensure the health and safety of all campers.

3.Live with their campers and participate enthusiastically in all camp activities.

4.Serve the camp community and provide leadership in the Camp Program.  This includes spiritual, community, and recreational activities.

5.Participate in all pre-camp staff training events.

6.Help campers develop their talents and gifts.

7.Maintain good self-care in order to fulfill the role of counselor.

Qualifications

First Aid and CPR C
Must be a minimum of 16 years old
Experience working with children
LIT program is an asset
