The ideal candidate would be a Registered Veterinary Technologist however applicants with other education and experience will be considered.
Ideal skills
Experience with both small and large animal clinics
Excellent oral and written communication with other staff and with clients, in person and on the phone

Proficient with computers including Microsoft office (Word, Excel etc)
Experience in an office environment, office administration and secretarial duties would be considered an asset but not mandatory
Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs
Responsibilities include (but not limited too)
Office: welcoming clients and patients to our facility, updating client/patients records upon check in, admitting and weighing patients before appointments, addressing clients concern or questions, communicating information to other staff members, assisting clients with over the counter sales, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and taking messages, prescription refill requests, preparation of a variety of certificates and medical paperwork, reminder phone calls/emails, monitoring clinic email, computer operation/trouble shooting, cleaning duties, accounts receivable/collections, printing/mailing statements, helping clients with financing company, ordering/stocking office supplies including promotional items, filing, running errands, and maintain a clean and welcoming clinic
SA clinic: Assisting the veterinarians when required
