Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or related field.
-Experience: Previous experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
-Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to plan and implement literacy activities.
-Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
-Attributes: Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
-Program Coordination: Plan, organize, and lead literacy activities for children aged 5-12.
-Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants.
-Instruction: Teach literacy skills through engaging and interactive methods.
-Assessment: Monitor and assess the progress of participants, providing feedback and support.
-Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and community partners.
-Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on camp activities and participant progress.
-Team Collaboration: Work with other facilitators and volunteers to ensure a successful camp experience.
This position is part-time to June 15 (100 hours) and Full-time June 15-Sept 15. You must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
