Description

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement's Saskatchewan Air Ambulance has a Permanent Part-time opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an M1 rating located in Saskatoon, SK. This position will involve line and heavy maintenance during afternoon, evening and weekend hours.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, in this challenging and rewarding position.
Ideal Candidate

As the successful candidate, you will be a thorough, reliable and detail-oriented individual who has:

- Knowledge and understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Knowledge of multi-engine turboprop pressurized aircraft including modern avionics and systems, environmental, structural inspection/repair, and electrical systems.
- Recent experience conducting scheduled inspections, diagnosing equipment and aircraft problems, conducting necessary repairs and maintenance of aircraft and equipment.
- The ability to accurately apply standard safety precautions and practices according to established protocols, safety guidelines and existing legislation,
- Ability to lift objects up to 45kg; and more!

To qualify for this position, you are required to possess a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's license with an M1 rating issued by the Ministry of Transport Canada, with recent, and related experience on multi-engine turboprop aircraft. Experience with Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine maintenance is an asset. Previous Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on type is an asset, as is previous training and experience on powered mobile equipment including forklift, scissor lift, and aircraft towing. Documented structures or avionics training and experience, or an S or 'E' rating would also be an asset.
