Who you are:
-You have a Grade 12 education or higher
-You have customer service and prior supervisory experience in the retail industry
-You are diligent and are fully committed to building an effective team with strong customer service goals
-You have knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin, and inventory management
-You have an understanding of Excel, Microsoft word, outlook email and know how to operate basic office equipment
-You have strong communication and organization skills
-You are aligned with a vision for continuous improvement & learning
-You are receptive to change
-You have the ability to be physically active by lifting up to 50 lbs if required
-You have certification in or are willing to attain training for WHMIS, First Aid, & Serve it Right

What you will do:
The Grocery Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the overall operation and performance of our Watson Grocery & Liquor location.  This position will report directly to the Grocery Manager.
-Be an active team leader of all operations ensuring operations are efficient for all members and customers
-Work directly with the Grocery/Liquor Manager on the day-to-day operations including operating procedures, setting goals, training and development.
-Leading and assisting staff
-Perform all aspects of opening and closing duties.
-Perform and follow cash handling procedures and policies
-Ensure all store areas are always clean and presentable
-You will provide positive customer relations and ensure staff are also providing full service to all customers
-Assist in brand merchandising, product promotion, display organization, and inventory management
-Available for a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends as position requires
