SIIT is recruiting for a Mental Health & Wellness Instructor. As the educational leader in the classroom, the Instructor in the Mental Health & Wellness program, will be responsible for delivering SIIT programs and curricula with the purpose of promoting student success.

Required Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Social Work, or degree in a related field is required. An understanding of adult learning theories and principles is considered an asset. For success in this position a genuine commitment to help students learn and succeed is required. Prior teaching experience would be preferred. Ability to understand and incorporate contemporary methodologies with a complementary Indigenous worldview and pedagogy are an asset. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations would be an asset. An understanding of adult learning theories and principles is considered an asset.
