Description

The RM of Redburn No.130 is accepting applications for 1 full time seasonal Mower Operator.  The Municipal Office and shop are located in Rouleau, Sk.
The position takes daily direction from the Transportation Department Foreman and will work alongside an experienced crew that is responsible for a variety of road construction and maintenance tasks.  The position will start between May1-16 and be weather dependent for the end date.

Requirements:
     Class 5 Drivers License (Class 1 A preferred and may be an asset to applicant)
     Ability to take direction from the TS Department Foreman
     Ability to work independently or in a group
     Ability to adhere to workplace safety policies and Employee Code of Conduct
     Preferred but not required: WHMIS, Power Mobile Equipment (PME), First Aid, Ground Disturbance
     Posses a pleasant demeanor for any public interactions
     Speak and write fluent English

Duties include (but are not limited to):
     Operating a tractor with mower
     Inspecting equipment and vehicles and performing regular maintenance & servicing
     Maintaining the growth along public roadways, municipal easements and around signage, culverts and bridges
     Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the shop, shop yard and equipment     and vehicles  
     Accurate record keeping when necessary
