Job Summary
The Team Lead EmpowerKidsSummer Adventure  is a dynamic and hands-on role responsible for leading and delivering the EmpowerKids Summer Adventure program. This role involves planning and facilitating a variety of enriching activities for children aged 6-14, including on-site programming and off-site excursions such as kayaking, museum visits, farm tours, and beach outings.

The Team Lead will work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure a safe, fun, and empowering experience, encouraging participants (Adventurers) to explore, grow, and discover their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and facilitate a diverse range of on-site activities, including arts and crafts, science projects, drama, music, cooking, and team-building games.
Organize and lead off-site excursions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during transport and at destinations.
Ensure activities are inclusive, age-appropriate, and aligned with the mission of Break Free Outreach Ministries Inc.
Supervise, mentor, and support summer staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Delegate tasks to ensure smooth transitions between activities and excursions.
Act as a role model, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and professionalism.
Build rapport with Adventurers, encouraging participation and fostering a sense of community.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of Adventurers during on-site and off-site activities.
Address behavioral challenges and respond effectively Adventurers needs, escalating issues to the Executive Director as required.
Safety & Risk Management
Ensure the safety of participants and staff during all activities and excursions, adhering to child safety protocols.
Conduct pre-activity and pre-excursion safety checks, including transportation arrangements.
Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, documenting as required.
