Good Spirit Housing Authority serves the communities of Melville, Yorkton, and Canora and provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families, and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter.
The Housing Authority has a Seasonal Office Assistant position for a self-motivated, results oriented employee to join the team from May to September. The position will be based in Yorkton with travel to all locations Good Spirit Housing Authority serves.
This seasonal office position provides administrative support to all staff. Responsibilities include answering phones, responding to general inquiries by phone or in person, accepting rent payments, maintaining general office and file systems.
Requirements include:
-Grade XII
-Valid driver's license
-Positive personal presentation and interpersonal skills
-Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time
management and good judgement
-Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
-Ability to work amongst tenants and the public
-Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and
meet deadlines
-Recognition of and respect for people's diversity.
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required upon hire.
This full-time seasonal term, unionized position is currently vacant
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Anticipated start date May 5, 2025
Current salary range: $17.14 18.15/hour
