Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Dam Safety Engineer to join our Infrastructure Planning team.
Reporting to the Manager, Dam Safety, an employee in this position will provide engineering services for a variety of activities directly related to Water Security Agencys (WSA) Dam Safety Program consisting of conducting dam safety reviews, inspections, risk assessments, dam break analyses, and public safety audits. You will contribute to WSAs emergency response plans and training as well as prepare operations, maintenance and surveillance manuals. You will support the work of engineering consultants for specialized dam safety studies and analyses. Lastly, you will provide professional engineering support to all dam infrastructure teams.
The successful candidate shall possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
