Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Dam Safety team.

Reporting to the Manager, Dam Safety, an employee in this role will be the primary coordinator for emergency management planning directly related to the WSAs Dam Safety program. Ensuring all Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) are prepared and tested, and internal and external stakeholders are trained in emergency management response protocols. This employee will test and maintain WSAs mass notification system and maintain accurate records and documentation for the dam safety emergency management program.

You will perform the lead role in the administration of dam safety emergency management planning activities, which includes developing and maintaining dam safety emergency action plans (EAPs), training and testing of EAPs, testing and maintaining WSAs mass notification system, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

The successful candidate shall possess a diploma in Disaster and Emergency Management or a similar technical discipline, with 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
