Position: Body Apprentice Level 3-4
Collision: SMP Collision Center
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Classification: Full time, Onsite,
Salary: Based on Experience

Your area of focus.

As an Autobody Apprentice Technician, youll focus on collision repair and vehicle restoration, gaining hands-on experience in frame repair, dent removal, paint prep, and panel replacement. Youll learn to work safely with hazardous materials and equipment like welding tools and frame machines, all while ensuring vehicles are returned to top condition and meet industry standards for customer satisfaction.

What drives your day-to-day?

Assist in performing collision repairs on a wide variety of vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians
Gain practical experience in structural and cosmetic repairs, including frame straightening, welding, and refinishing
Learn to use the latest tools, equipment, and technology in the industry
Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure top-quality work and exceptional customer service
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment


What are the must-haves

Traditional Autobody Apprenticeship
Must have level 3-4 Apprenticeship
Basic computer skills
Previous shop or dealership experience is preferred, especially in an autobody or repair setting
Physical fitness to meet demands of the job, including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and use of power/hand tools
Valid Canadian Drivers License with a clean driving record (required for road tests and vehicle movements)
