Description

MGBHLM is seeking a Skills Link Coordinator who will work closely with the SAET program as part of the MGBHLM team, and under direct supervision of the Finance Manager. The Skills Link Coordinator will ensure on reserve IA/NON IA clients have access to the program and understand the criteria for funding. Ensuring the program is compliant, using mandatory case plan forms, database and using policy in the best interest of success for our community members. Skills Link Coordinator will work closely with Income Assistant Administrators, Post Secondary, Prevention, Jordans Principle, to determine course of action to success, and assist Finance Manager as needed. The Skills Link Coordinator will ensure that AANDC Social Development are adhered and any variation from Policy will be corrected in a timely manner.

Duties:
*Determine if client is eligible for SAET
*Adhere to policy for eligibility
*Coordinate discussions with IA re: client case plan or skills ready
*Assists IA with Case Plan, Client Agreement and application (IA)
*Ensure mandatory documents are signed
*Create an invoice for cost of training or group training
*Creates SAET Forms for each approved client, to be signed by lA
*Provide IA Administrator copy for client file
*SAET form approval and continued eligibility for Income Assistance
*Check budget, if adequate funds, send letter of approval or denial
*Share information with IA administrator via email.
*Assist IA and partners with case plan, to determine eligibility for other supports
*Must complete case plans
*Track and Maintain the SAET Budget
*Work as team with Social Development staff, Administrator and Client.
*Work closely with community resources to ensure the coordination of services.
