Description

This is a permanent full time, Monday to Friday, 8 hrs/day position.  The operator will be required to alternate the weekend daily checks, on-call standby and off-hours alarms/emergencies.  The operator is responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing the water supply systems, wastewater collection systems, equipment and related facilities, as well as any other public works as needed.
Previous experience with water and wastewater works would be an asset however is not necessary as on-site training will be available.
Courses will be required in water and wastewater in order to obtain the necessary certification.  Some of the courses required are WHMIS, Confined Space, First Aid/CPR etc.
A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, work well with others but is able to work with minimal supervision.
