Job Order Detail

Description

This is a permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hrs/day position. The operator will be required to alternate the weekend daily checks, on-call standby and off-hours alarms/emergencies. The operator is responsible for operation and maintenance of the water supply/treatment/distribution, lagoon, sewer lift stations, community wells, perform other public works duties as required etc.  
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Must be willing to take the required Water and Wastewater Operator courses to obtain certification as well as courses in WHMIS, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR, Landscape and Aquatic Applicator.
Previous experience would be an asset but not necessary for the right candidate as on-site training is available.
The right candidate should be self-motivated, work well with others but is able to work with minimal supervision.
