Description

Job Summary:
The Program, Events, and Partnership Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and events to enhance Downtown Saskatoons vibrancy. We seek a passionate, creative individual to activate public spaces, engage local businesses, and build strong partnerships. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing people together, this role is for you. Youll work with local businesses, cultural organizations, and key stakeholders to create meaningful experiences and foster lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities:
-Program and Event Planning & Management
-Business Partner Engagement
-Community Outreach
-Data Tracking & Evaluation
-Public Relations

Qualifications:
-Education: Event Management, Project Management or a related field.
-Experience: 3-5 years of experience in event planning, project management, community engagement, or a similar role.
-Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
-Attributes: Creative, energetic, and self-motivated with a passion for community building and engagement. Demonstrates excellent project management and problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
-Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support events and programs.
-Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable engaging with people at all levels, from community members to business owners, with a high degree of professionalism and energy.
-Bonus: Familiarity with Downtown Saskatoon and the BID District is a plus.
