Description

In this role, youll be at the forefront of mining operations, guiding teams and contractors to ensure exceptional project execution with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Youll coordinate and supervise contractors, monitor performance, and implement safety programs that prioritize the well-being of our workers and the environment. Your expertise will help diagnose and troubleshot complex issues, while supporting the ongoing improvement of mining and drilling tools. Responsibilities:
-Co-ordinate and supervise employees and contractors at site, review performance and techniques
-Inspect and control the work site to ensure that adequate programs are in place that protect the health and safety of workers, the environment, and ensure that work is performed on time
-Collect and review data and records gathered from the worksite, including Orano and contractors forms and daily logs
-Follow procedures, quality manuals and appropriate controls for the use of equipment
-Involved in mining and drilling tools improvement such as proposing and suggesting modifications from field observations

Skills and Qualifications:
-5+ years of leadership experience in a drilling environment
-Experience in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems
-Knowledge in borehole logging gamma, deviation and sonar
-Ability to understand engineering drawings on mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems
-Familiar with Microsoft Office programs
-Familiarity with uranium mining and/or jet-boring technology are assets
-Possess a valid Drivers License
-Experience in working in remote locations

Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
