Description

The Food Bank Manager plays a key role in operation of the Lac La Ronge Food
Bank. This position oversees the day-to-day running of the Food Bank program and provides support
to the Board, volunteer workers and our community partners.
Some duties include:
-Run all Lac La Ronge Food Bank operations Open and close facility, manage access by volunteers
- Liaise with program participants accessing services
- Responsible for email, socials (Facebook) and phone (cell and landline)
- Coordinate volunteer team (when they are assisting with above)
- Coordinate, recruit and support volunteers
- Place orders, manage stock, accept deliveries
- Data collection, data entry, privacy management
- Liaise with other food banks and relevant peer organizations
- Work with suppliers and donations
- Communicate information about the Food Bank with the public and key stakeholders
Including the role of food bank and charitable giving
- Support the Food Bank Board
- Help preparing meetings, agendas, AGM
