The Esterhazy Housing Authority (EHA) has an opportunity for a part-time Administrative Assistant to join their team, working 30 hours/week to provide safe, affordable housing to the community.  If you have excellent organizational skills, can multitask and thrive in a team environment, wed love to hear from you!  


In this front-line administrative position, you will:
-Respond to incoming calls and walk in traffic;
-Respond to general inquiries, promoting awareness and understanding of housing programs;
-Perform financial and administration functions including: record keeping, tracking, scheduling, receipting and preparing payment vouchers and deposits and other office duties as required;
-Perform various tenant relations functions including tenant administration and responding to tenant inquiries.

What we are looking for:
-Efficient with Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service to clients/customers

What you will need:
-Grade 12 or equivalent (some post-secondary in business administration would be an asset)
-Overall knowledge of all office systems and procedures
-Recognition of, and respect for peoples diversity and individual differences
-A valid drivers license and use of own vehicle
-An approved Criminal Record Check will be required

This is a part time position to work 30 hours week; schedule to be determined through mutual agreement.  

A benefits package, including pension, is available to the successful applicant.
