Job Description:
Chief Beardys Memorial Elementary School is seeking 2 dedicated and reliable Custodians to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for general cleaning duties, and ensuring the school premises are in good condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, and common
  areas.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and dispose of
  waste properly.
* Dust and wipe down furniture, windows, and surfaces.
* Ensure the safety and security of the school by locking/unlocking
  doors and monitoring access when required.
* Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergency spills.
* Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with school and
  provincial health regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Grade 12 and or some high school
* Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.(But not
  necessary)
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Awareness of safety procedures
* A clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check is required.
