Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team In northern Saskatchewan on a 2 week on 2 week off rotation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Identify mechanical issues through observation and testing, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance work, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices related to mechanical repair.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
A valid driver's license is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
Willingness to continuously learn new skills and techniques related to mechanics.
