Position Summary:
Beardys Headstart/Daycare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Coordinator to oversee the operations of our early childhood education programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality programming that fosters the holistic development of children while incorporating cultural teachings and language.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Headstart and Daycare programs.
Ensure compliance with provincial childcare regulations and
  licensing requirements.
Develop and implement culturally appropriate, land-based, and
  language-immersed programming.
Supervise and support early childhood educators and staff.
Manage program budgets, reporting, and funding applications.
Build and maintain positive relationships with families,
  staff, and community members.
Organize and facilitate professional development for staff.
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning
  environment.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education or
  a leadership role in childcare services.
Knowledge of Indigenous culture, language, and traditions is an
  asset.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with administrative duties, emailing, typing documents,
  scheduling.
Experience with budget management and funding applications.
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
