Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create timely and engaging content that is optimized for the platform it will be published on; website, newsletter, social media, radio
Ensure information is accurate, complete and consistently updated
Monitor discussions related to the organization in media spaces and respond to audiences in a timely manner.
Update and manage the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation Community Development Plan, Strategic Plan and the Annual Report
Lead various meetings, workshops, presentations within the community to update the Community Development Plan
Work collaboratively with Departments to update the Strategic Plan on an annual basis
Compose, edit, design and distribute a quarterly Birchbark Report
Update and maintain the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation Dashboard
Attend and document community events
Update and maintain the content on the Ahtahkakoop website(s) including (http://www.ahtahkakoop.ca)
Other duties as may be directed by the Director of Governance
