Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our team in Shaunavon, SK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving business growth through community engagement and strategic planning

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with all provincial regulatory guidelines.

- Fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.

- Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, promoting professional excellence and customer service.

- Develop and implement strategic business plans and marketing strategies.

- Manage inventory control and loss prevention.

- Handle billing processes and resolve any related issues.

- Plan and coordinate pharmacy clinics and community outreach programs.

- Conduct regular staff meetings to identify and act on business opportunities or threats.

- Perform human resource functions including recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management.

- Report on financial performance, prescription volumes, and clinical prescribing statistics

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid license in good standing.

- Injection and minor ailment prescribing certification preferred.

- Proven leadership and management skills.

- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.

- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

- Business and marketing experience is a plus

Reporting:

The Pharmacy Manager will report directly to the owner & Business Manager as needed

Work Environment:

The role involves working during regular business hours with some travel to outreach areas for health clinics and service delivery.

There is a potential for ownership for the right candidate.
