Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery, including farm equipment, industrial equipment, and automotive vehicles. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed for repairs.
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or on-site.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
Strong understanding of automotive repair principles and practices.
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors
A valid drivers license

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
