Description

We are a small town based trucking company and feed lot seeking a reliable, experienced full-time mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repairs of our fleet of trucks, trailers, and agricultural equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair who is looking for long-term stability in a supportive and well-equipped work environment.
Responsibilities:
-Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
-Service and repair agricultural equipment as required.
-Manage and maintain an extensive inventory of parts and order parts as needed.  
-Keep detailed records of all service and repairs performed.
-Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including SGI Inspections for our fleet as well as doing CVIP's for outside customers.
-Oversee the operation and upkeep of our full-service shop and truck wash.
-Supervise shop employees and truck wash attendant.
-Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
-Ability to obtain or already have an SGI Inspection number.
-Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
