The Role
As a senior leader of the technical services management team, reporting to the director of the technical services strategic projects group, you will provide overall leadership to the mine engineering, process metallurgy and operations technical groups by building strong relationships with mill/mine site leadership and corporate stakeholders. This role also oversees and manages relationships and expectations with external firms Cameco engages with to provide engineering services and resources.

In this role, you will:
-Be responsible for administration, management, and oversight of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
-Lead and develop strategies and tactics for supporting Operations in the areas of mine engineering, process metallurgy and operational technology.
-Provide leadership and support to the strategic projects, and sustaining projects portfolio by ensuring resources and skillsets are available for execution of work.
-Build and manage relationships with external engineering firms who are engaged to provide technical resources and technical work to support Camecos capital program and operations needs.
-Assist and collaborate with strategic project teams to develop fit for purpose execution plans and monitoring and controlling work underway.
-Ensure that the design work is done in accordance with Camecos standards and regulatory requirements and to an appropriate level of quality.


Required:  
-Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or related field
