RGAL is a local and Indigenous-owned small firm that fosters a flexible work environment. Our Architectural team is looking for a key, full-time team member that has experience in commercial, and institutional drafting, design and planning with various project types, scales and complexity.

Your role as a contributor on our team is to work independently and collaboratively to assist the principal architect, consultants and clients through the planning and creation of solution-oriented and culturally centered designs.

Responsibilities Include:
    Analysis, design and detailing of Architectural elements for all projects, including plans, technical details and assistance with specifications
    Design of Architectural works associated with the construction of new buildings & renovations projects
    Investigate preliminary Architectural layout options during the planning and schematic design process to meet the clients requirements
    Prepare conceptual and design details, calculations, layouts, sketches, specifications which meet unique project needs and which, comply with sound Architectural practices and standards
    Complete various Site Inspections and prepare contract administration reports

Qualifications Include:
    Requires effective skills with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, BlueBeam, SketchUP and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Demonstrated proficiency in the design of Architectural works with a focus on commercial and institutional building projects.

Typical office environment with computers, and we offer a flexible work environment. Contract or remote / hybrid working arrangements may be considered. Some travel and work outside of regular business hours may be required.
