Our Maintenance Department is seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of community infrastructure, buildings, and equipment. The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure
safety compliance, and contribute to the efficient operation of community services. The Supervisor will oversee and ensure that all equipment, tools, and vehicles are tracked, identified and maintained
appropriately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors;
Review, revise O&M processes and procedures to ensure the efficient use of materials, supplies
and manpower;
Plan and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections;
Ensure all facilities, roads, water, and wastewater systems are maintained;
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
Train and mentor staff in maintenance best practices;
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests;
Conduct and maintain tools and equipment inventory;
Ensure all tools and equipment are identified and marked as MLCN property;
Identify tool and equipment shortages and process appropriate paperwork for the purchase of
tools and equipment required;
Ensure proper and secure storage of tools and equipment;
Initiate a maintenance program for all equipment and vehicles including regular cleaning and
washing;
Tracking of vehicles daily mileage and fuel consumption (including the grader);
Create and provide daily schedules where required;
Perform weekly toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings;
Additional duties as requested by the MLCN Manager of Public Works
