Job Description: The Assistant Head Nurse assists the Care Team Manager to assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate Nursing Services of the nursing department in keeping with the policies, philosophies and objectives of the HHR.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience
- 2-5 years of professional nursing practice in a hospital/LTC setting
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)

- Knowledge in principles of supervision and administration
