Job Duties
Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone, and in person
Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process
Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
Register arriving guests and assign rooms
Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems
Handle guest requests and complaints efficiently ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Process payments and manage cash transactions securely, present statements of charges to departing guests, and receive payment.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests
Provide information about services available in the community, and respond to guests' complaints
Provide local area information, including dining recommendations and attractions.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry

Education
Secondary school
Experience
Experience in a hotel/Motel will be an asset
Salary
$27.50/hr
Benefits
Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
