POSITION SUMMARY:
Join DDCDC, where creativity meets community impact. We are seeking a dynamic Communications Support Worker to elevate our digital presence through innovative storytelling and content creation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Enhance online presence via digital advertising, website management, and social media.
-Contribute to content creation, campaigns, and event planning.
-Implement and measure communication efforts.
-Provide creative direction for advertising and promotional materials.
-Oversee social media accounts and website with a brand-focused approach.
-Proficiency in cloud-based, Oracle, and other databases, with a focus on effective developer collaboration.
-Support community events and foster partnerships.
Education and Experience:
-Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
-3-5 years of experience in digital advertising and communications.
-Proficiency in MS Suite, Adobe Suite, and digital analytics tools.
-Strong understanding of web development, SEO, and SEM.
-Experience working within First Nations or with Indigenous communities is an asset.
-Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CCRC) as a condition of employment.
