Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities:
*Complete plumbing installs and repairs in adherence with the applicable national and provincial code, manuals, specifications schematics, or blueprints.
*Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines, best practices, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
*Install, maintain, and repair all types of piping systems, fixtures, and other equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water or wastewater
*Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
*Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
*Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure.
*Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling equipment

Requirements

*Journeyman Plumber Certificate
*valid Saskatchewan Journeyman Plumber license
*valid Saskatchewan Gas Fitters license
*3-5 years experience in residential plumbing
*Knowledge of the National and Provincial plumbing code.
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints
*Knowledge on the building codes and best construction practices in maintenance, repair and modernization.
*Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of stakeholders
*Commitment to confidentiality and a respect for diversity and individual differences
*Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good judgment and critical thinking skills
*Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team setting
*Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, problem solve, and work efficiently under tight timelines
*Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License
*Reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes
*Ability to provide a clean enhanced criminal record check
